The Intelligent Medical Ultrasound Lab of Fudan University was founded by Academician Weiqi Wang, and Professor Dean Ta is the head of the Lab. The Lab consists of 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 1 associate researcher, 3 young researchers, 1 young associate researchers, 1 senior visiting scholar, and more than 80 postdoctoral, doctoral and master students.
The main research direction of the research group:
1. Smart medical ultrasound: Medical signal processing, medical ultrasound imaging (high-resolution ultrasound imaging and ultra-fast ultrasound imaging) and image processing, artificial intelligence information processing, advanced ultrasound-photoacoustic detection methods and technologies application.
2. Medical diagnosis and treatment system: Medical ultrasound diagnosis and treatment system, intelligent medical system and Medical IoT system, smart health monitoring system, electronic system software and hardware collaborative design, SOPC system and FPGA digital logic design, wearable medical embedding Design of high-speed digital signal processing system based on DSP and FPGA.
3. Acoustic metamaterials and devices: physical acoustics, the design and preparation of new high-performance acoustic functional devices based on artificial microstructures, the physical mechanism and innovative applications of acoustic angular momentum, the principle of high-resolution ultrasound focusing and Applications in precision medicine, abnormal acoustic phenomena and manipulation in acoustic artificial systems, topological acoustics.
4. Ultrasonic testing: Ultrasonic guided wave testing and information processing, ultrasonic testing methods and their applications in medical ultrasound and industrial non-destructive testing.
As an important part of the original "985" and "211" key disciplines, the research group belongs to the state key discipline "Circuits and Systems" and the Shanghai Municipal key discipline "Biomedical Engineering". It also belongs to the State Key Laboratory of Special Integrated Circuits and Systems, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Medical Image Processing and Computer-Assisted Surgery,Fudan University.
In the past 10 years, We have published more than 400 papers, applied for nearly 100 patents, co-authored 6 books, and participated in the compilation of 3 textbooks, undertaken 30 major research instrument development projects of the National Foundation of China, more than 30 various projects of the Ministry of Education and Shanghai municipality, and won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Education and other awards.
The laboratory currently has scientific research cooperation and co-cultivation of postgraduates with many domestic and foreign universities (12 postgraduates jointly cultivated with foreign universities), including the Stony Brook University of New York, the University of Paris VI, the University of Alberta in Canada, and the Jyväskylä University in Finland and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, etc.
